Positive Choices Substance Abuse Programs
for HIV/AIDS Individuals
Metro Wellness and Community Centers now offer outpatient, substance abuse counseling options both individually and also by group for individuals with HIV/AIDS diagnosis. Read below for detailed information about each service option and how to make your appointment:
Positive Choices Outpatient Substance Abuse Group Counseling
Positive Choices Outpatient Substance Abuse Group counseling is a free, confidential 10-week substance abuse treatment program for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
- Lunch is provided and participants can earn up to $40 in gift cards as incentives for attendance.
- You must call Metro Charities for an appointment to participate in this program.
When & Where:
St. Petersburg: Metro Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Free Lunch served at 12 Noon followed by group therapy at 1 pm.
Positive Choices Individual Counseling
Metro Wellness and Community Centers offer individual counseling with an experienced therapist addressing issues surrounding substance abuse/HIV/general life skills. This confidential counseling is offered free to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
When & Where:
St. Petersburg: Metro Center. Convenient appointments available, both day and early evening.
