Rapid STI Testing in Tampa & St. Pete
Schedule online to get in, get tested, and get your results — all in one visit. Our Seminole Heights and North St. Pete (Gandy Area) health centers offer rapid, on-site STI testing with results ready in as little as 90 minutes after your test. Walk-ins are always welcome — no appointment needed — but scheduling online is the best way to reduce your wait time. We test for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, HIV, and Hepatitis C. (Note: Hepatitis A screening is available, and Hepatitis B testing is available specifically for patients receiving PrEP).
Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover STI testing and treatment at no cost to you. Paying out of pocket? Testing ranges from $94 to $206 depending on the number of sites tested (oral, anal, and/or genital). HIV & Hep C testing are always free.
Need results but not in a rush? Traditional STI testing is available at all six of our health centers — Downtown St. Pete, North St. Pete, South St. Pete, Central Avenue, Seminole Heights, and Fletcher Avenue — at a flat rate of $132 with results in 3–5 days.

DoxyPEP Can Prevent STIs
After a possible exposure, DoxyPEP can significantly reduce the risk of contracting bacterial STIs like syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea following unprotected sex. DoxyPEP and PrEP can be taken together under the supervision of a Metro Healthy Communities provider.
