About Ilona
Ilona Lelchitskaya, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Lehman College, City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from City College of Technology, City University of New York.
She is passionate about patient-centered, holistic care that emphasizes therapeutic communication, empathy, emotional support, and shared decision-making. Ilona focuses on prevention, health education, and individualized treatment plans that respect patient autonomy. Her clinical expertise includes primary care, women’s health, obstetrics, occupation and post-car-accident medical evaluations, and nursing education.
Committed to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning, Ilona delivers compassionate, culturally sensitive care facilitated by her fluency in Russian and Ukrainian, as well as her conversational proficiency in Spanish. She is dedicated to improving health outcomes through collaboration, advocacy, and patient empowerment.
