Patricia is a provider in the New Port Richey and Clearwater offices. She has over 10 years of nurse practitioner experience including trauma & surgical critical care, abdominal transplant, and primary care and over 24 years of bedside nursing experience. She obtained both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She later pursued her Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner certification at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She grew up in rural North Carolina and it fueled her desire to improve access to those with limited opportunities to enter the healthcare system. She had the opportunity to intern in the STD/Infectious Diseases Clinic affiliated with Duke University’s Epidemiology Programs at her local county health department early in her career. She enjoys working with patients and helping them understand their role in maintaining good health. She has special interest in endocrinology, specifically diabetes care. She is married to her husband Jamie and has 2 children and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she spends time training for various races, primarily triathlons, and participating in activities with her family.
