Press Release: Condom Couture Exhibit Arrives at St. Pete’s inclusivitea. for Three-Month Engagement

In partnership with ONECondom, Metro Inclusive Health recruits local teams to create one-of-a-kind creations made entirely of condoms for national traveling exhibit

St. Petersburg, FL — Project Condom, where fashion meets sexual health, launched in 2019 with an original condom couture fashion show collaboration between ONECondom and The Ryan White Wellness Center in Charleston, SC. In recognition of World AIDS Day, four of the outfits, made completely out of condoms, will be on loan as a temporary installation at invlusivitea., 2235 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg.

The outfits will be revealed at an opening reception and Adult Art Market on Friday, December 3rd from 6:30-8pm and will remain on display, free and open to the public, during inclusivitea.’s normal hours of operation through February 2022.

METRO has recruited four local teams to design and fabricate new, original concepts for the traveling exhibit to be revealed at a live fashion show on Friday, February 18.

Project Condom breaks down barriers and de-stigmatizes discussions about sexual health and the importance of getting tested for HIV and common STIs, regularly. Fitting in-line with the mission of METRO, we’re very pleased to support this concept.

Project Condom teams are challenged to incorporate creativity, inclusivity and safe sex messaging into their designs, providing an engaging, safe space where healthy relationship, communication, and sexual health discussion about condom usage is encouraged.
