Yaneris is a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 6 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She has experience working with multiple populations including individuals who identify as LGBTQ, Transgender, immigrants, and adoptive families. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient settings, outpatient settings, community mental health settings, and DCF affiliated programs which has allowed her to gain vast experiences on how to accommodate to her client’s needs. Yaneris has experience treating multiple concerns including suicidal ideations, relationships issues, schizophrenia, depression, PTSD, anxiety, adjustment issues, adoption related issues, gender identity, and self-esteem. She utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and TBRI techniques. Yaneris strives to provide a safe space for her client where they can identify barriers and develop a plan to improve their overall functionality.
