Meet Dr. Luke Johnsen, who successfully completed the Family Medicine Residency at Franklin Square Hospital, and since then, who has diligently practiced his profession across several prominent medical facilities and hospitals. Notably, contributed his expertise to the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins for an impressive span of 11 years.

As a dedicated member of the METRO family, Dr. Johnsen has assumed the role of Medical Director, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to serving the local community. Dr. Johnsen’s contributions extend beyond his direct practice, as he has co-authored several impactful papers on PrEP and public health over the years. These contributions have not only enriched his professional portfolio but have also paved the way for him to deliver presentations and provide training to fellow healthcare providers. His areas of expertise encompass sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and transgender patient care, among other crucial subjects. His influence has transcended national boundaries, as he has shared his knowledge and insights both nationally and internationally.

In addition to his illustrious medical career, Dr. Johnsen finds relaxation and enjoyment in sailing the open seas and embarking on motorcycle adventures. His passion for hands-on activities is evident through his pursuit of various projects in his garage.
