About Luke

Luke completed his residency in Family Medicine at Franklin Square Hospital and continued his profession at multiple medical sites & hospitals such as Johns Hopkins where he worked in the Division of Infectious Diseases for 11 years. As part of the METRO family, Dr. Johnsen serves the community as the Medical Director. Throughout his time Dr. Johnsen had the privilege of being a co-author to multiple papers on PrEP and Public Health which opened the doors for him to present and train other healthcare providers in the area of Sexually Transmitted Infections, transgender patient care and more, both nationally and overseas. On his time off he enjoys sailing on the seas, riding motorcycles and working on many unfinished projects in his garage.
