Cynthia came to METRO with 25 years of medical experience. Many of those years were devoted to critical care which included NICU, Cardiac Progressive Care, GI, and bedside Intensive Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount Carmel Nursing School in Columbus, Ohio, and later graduated from Otterbein University in 2010. She has been an ARNP for thirteen years specializing in adult care. Since graduating, she worked as a Hepatology/Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner at Ohio University. Her expertise involved treating Hepatitis B, C, and co-infected patients with HIV. She has provided care for chronic liver failure and general gastroenterology patients. While at Ohio State University, she was on the Liver Transplant Committee and practiced Telemedicine for the Ohio Correctional Institution. She is married, has four children, eight grandchildren, and loves spending time with her family. Though she enjoys all outdoor sports, football is her passion. She also likes to fish, walk and run.
